Applications for Fall, Spring and Summer Semesters
- Fall and Spring Semesters: It is taken as an annual registration. Payments are made in two parts.
- Summer Term: There is a separate application process. Applications usually open in early June.
- Semester Application: It is only possible for special cases (academic reasons, etc.). For this, you should review the Dormitory Directive.
How to Apply through the SIS System
Login Information and Sample Usernames
The application system is done through the university’s internal system, SIS (Student Information System). When logging into this system for the first time, you must make sure you enter the correct username.
- If you are a Turkish citizen: Use your ID number.
- If you are an international student:
- If you have a foreign ID number, write it down.
- If not: Your student number + year of birth (for example: S0012341999).
After logging into SIS, go to the “Dormitory Transactions” tab and select the “Dormitory Application” section.
Application Screen Considerations
The system will ask you to rank your room preferences. Your preference ranking can make a big difference in placement. Therefore, I recommend that you first examine our room types page and choose the most suitable option for you.
After completing your application, you need to get approval in the system to proceed with the payment steps. After this approval:
- You can pay the security deposit,
- You can follow the results again from the SIS system.
What is the Early Registration System? What are the Advantages?
The Process of Booking a Room
Early registration is a privilege offered to current Özyeğin University students. It allows you to guarantee your room selection for the next academic year.
Advantages of this system:
- You can grab popular room types early.

- Secure your place before the new semester applications.
But you must pay the security deposit and accommodation fee between the announced dates. Otherwise your place will be canceled.
Early Registration Cancellation and Refund Terms
If your plans change, you can cancel your Early Bird registration through SIS. But timing is crucial:
- If you cancel before September 15th: You will be refunded with only one month’s salary deducted.
- If you cancel after September 15: You will be charged for the months you stay + 50% of the remaining semester fees.
If you receive a dormitory scholarship and do not pay the early registration fee on time, you will lose both your place and the room you are entitled to under the scholarship. But don’t worry, you can still apply during the new enrollment period.

Security Deposit and Refund Process
After your application has been accepted, you need to deposit a security deposit via SIS or at Fibabanka branches. This:
- One time only,
- Valid for the duration of your stay,
- If there is no damage to your room when you leave, you will be reimbursed.
If there is a price increase, you may be asked to pay the difference in the next application period.

There are two payment methods:

- Pay cash at Fibabanka branches by giving your student number
